The purpose of it was to implement a Steam emulator for the Redacted project, but was later forked and is no longer compatible with the project.

There's a lot better alternatives these days if you want to emulate Steam, such as SmartSteamEmu (SSE).

There's also the Platformwrapper_cpp repository which is currently hosted by @Convery but will later be hosted by @AyriaPublic when it's ready for release. That repository wraps common platforms to work with Ayria. Actively developed and maybe interesting.
