rchip stands for Remote Controlled Home automation Integration Program.  Using a list of JSON commands, it allows for a media options to be remotly controlled over from any device that can access the internet.  This is mostly a client, but it also can interact with other devices, such as adding shows to remote playqueues.
Using a XML file, and a predefined instruction set, rchip can command any media player.
