galapdf

Galapdf is a command line utility to convert Adobe PDF documents based on Xpdf,
it is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), version 2. The full
text of GPL v2 is listed in file COPYING.

Requirement:

xpdf
freetype
freeimage

Usage:

* Show file info
  galapdf info [-opw ownerpassword] [-upw userpassword] [-enc textencoding]
               filename.pdf
  
* Show font info
  galapdf fonts [-opw ownerpassword] [-upw userpassword]
                filename.pdf
  
* Convert PDF to text
  galapdf totext [-opw ownerpassword] [-upw userpassword] [-enc textencoding]
                 [-eol unix|dos|mac] [-pr pagerange] [-raw] [-layout]
                 filename.pdf filename.txt
          
* Extract embedded images from PDF
  galapdf extrimgs [-opw ownerpassword] [-upw userpassword]
                   [-fmt jpg|png|gif|tif|bmp] [-pr pagerange]
                   [-jq jpegquality] [-j] [-tj]
                   filename.pdf imagefile
		
* Convert PDF to image
  galapdf toimgs [-opw ownerpassword] [-upw userpassword] [-pr pagerange]
                 [-r resolution] [-mono] [-gray] [-fmt jpg|png|gif|tif|bmp]

-enc    text encoding
-eol    end of line
-fmt    image format
-gray   grayscale
-j      dump jpeg stream directly if output format is jpg
-jq     jpeg quality, 1~100
-layout keep text layout
-mono   monoscale
-mp     create multi-page tiff image
-opw    owner password
-pr     page range, such as 1,2,5-10
-r      resolution
-raw    dump raw text
-tj     save colorful and grayscale tiff images with jpeg compression
-upw    user password
