fxcd is a program for playing CDs, capable of retrieving CD information from CDDB compatible services like freedb. It currently works on Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and various UNIX operating systems.

fxcd is a CD player written with the FOX Platform Independent GUI Toolkit 
and with libcdaudio.  It is planned to support both Windows and UNIX, 
but currently only supports UNIX.  

A port of libcdaudio to Windows is currently underway.  
 

This software uses the FOX Platform Independent GUI Toolkit Library.  
The FOX Library is Copyright (C) 1997,2000,2001 Jeroen van der Zijp 
and is available freely under the GNU Lesser General Public License at

This software uses libcdlyte, a fork of libcdaudio version 0.99.4.  
libcdaudio is Copyright (C) 1998-1999 Tony Arcieri and is available 
freely under the GNU Lesser General Public License at the following site:
