The code in here is all mine, with the exception of most of the code in "crc.c". That code performs a CRC on data, and I maintained the author's copyright data as he requested. The only changes I made to his code were formatting changes for parameters and output.

Other than that, run make to build the software, and ./client -h or ./server -h (they're the same) to learn about command line parameters. The default port is 3000.

This is cross-platform (OS X and Linux)! That only required a few changes to the way kernel data structures were handled.

One last thing - the writeup mentioned that implementing with fork would be easier than implementing with pthreads. I found that to be exactly true, but only because of the "cd" command's implementation. "chdir" changes the working directory for an entire process. I think making "cd" work with multithreading would have required some serious file/directory name parsing code, and I didn't want to get into that. Thus, this implementation is multi-process.
