the multidisplay project is an opensource datalogger, bosst controller and display for cars ( see https://github.com/designer2k2/multidisplay for the hardware design and the firmware C/C++ code).
this multidisplay-app project (mUI) is a qt app as graphical frontend to the in-car installed multidisplay hardware. we are building apps for pc (linux, windows) and smartphone (android, maemo) out of the source code tree (thanks to the wonderful qt framework).
features of the multidisplay-app (mUI) qt app:
- bluetooth or usb connection to the multidisplay hardware in the car
- data logging (including 10Hz GPS)
- configure the multidisplay hardware (eg map sensor size, data acquisition frequency etc).
- configure the boost controller inside the multidisplay (gear and rpm dependent 16x1 maps)
- data analyzation: max values, high egt, injector duty cycle etc
- computation of acceleration times (e.g. 100 - 200 km/h)
- computation of hp and torque
