Since there are many ways to build conscriptor consider these guidelines as a pointer to what I did
and what did work.

Windows
	This is the messiest build. Every version of qt and mingw has it's own dll's
	You may need to use trial and error to have the complete set in nsis, then tweek
	conscriptor.nsi
	I used a samba share, F:, for my building.
	This let me use linux tools eg git to setup everything. EG in linux environment I ran
	./version.sh to set git and release numbers,
	Under Windows, in a command window set up by Qt run qmake then make
	After that run nsis on conscriptor.nsi to build the Setup.exe installer.
	Conscriptor does not touch the registry so to uninstall browse to
	C:\Program Files\conscriptor and run uninstall

RPM
	You will need dev tools, git, rpm-build and Qt tools and libs.
	Most systems now use ~/rpmbuild. If you use /src/[redhat|system|other] you will need to
	change the .pro, Makefile and spec files.
	make -f Makefile.rpm

DEB
	You will need build-essential git and the Qt tools and libs
	make -f Makefile.deb will reward you with a conscriptor-version.deb
	you can install that with dpkg -i conscriptor-version.deb

other
	You will need C++ dev environment, Qt tools and libs and git.
	./version.sh		# sets version and release numers
	qmake			# creates Makefile
	make			# runs the makefile
	the executable is in conscriptor.

Mac
	Install Qt from MacPorts. This implies you will have xcode installed. Install GIT as
	git-core from macports.
	In top level conscriptor directory start the process with

	 qmake
	 make

	You will be rewarded with conscriptor.app that you may use as a launcher.
	The serial port options for Mac include /dev/ttys000 only.
	You may edit the config settings to change this to ant value.
