Experimental SQLite extension implemented in Go.
Aim of the project is to check the possiblity of implementing extension for SQLite in Go language. Experimental extension was built with Go 1.6 and tested on Linux. Extensions provides simple implementation of function, which concatenates list of arguments with specified separator. Extension is not intended to be used in production.
- glitex.go - implementation of functions which are exported to c-archive.
- extension/glitex.c - facade for shared library implemented in C. Initialize SQLite extension and registers functions exported from
glitex.go
. - tests/c_string.c - standalone, valid C application, that calls functions exported from
glitex.go
. - tests/go_string.c - standalone C application, that panic when function returning
go string
is called. - Makefile - builds SQLite extension and test programs
Makefile defines few build goals:
make glitex.so
- builds SQLite extension as shared library. When building is finished, extension might be loaded from SQLite with command.load ./glitex.so
make c_string
- builds standalone application which calls various functions implemented in Go. To run prgram type in command line./run_test
make go_string
- builds standalone application which panics, when exported functionPureJoin()
is called
