==> weatherd

The server-side component for my arduino-based weatherstation

==> Requirements
* posix compliant unix platform
* customized serial port
* (optional) GPIO support

==> Platforms
For now, only OpenBSD on a Soekris 4801 is tested and supported. Other platforms
should work, but ymmv. The makefile is written as an OpenBSD port and will
require significant rewriting to be usable on non-OpenBSD platforms.

==> Usage
$ ./weatherd -h
Usage: weatherd [options]

Options:
 -h, --help show this help message and exit
 -V, --version show the program version and exit
 -v, --verbose show verbose output (-1)

Server options:
 -d, --daemonize daemonize on startup (-1)
 -u USER, --user=USER user to run as (nobody)
 -c PATH, --chroot=PATH chroot to this directory (/var/empty)
 -a N       --samples=N     aggregate N samples (60)

Serial options:
 -l PORT, --line=PORT serial port to connect to (/dev/tty01)
 -s SPEED,  --speed=SPEED   baudrate to use (57600)
 -p PARITY, --parity=PARITY use even/odd/none parity (none)
 -D N,      --databits=N    use N databits (8)
 -S N,      --stopbits=N    use N stopbits (1)

Output options:
 -L PATH, --datalog=PATH log aggregates to this directory (/srv/weatherd)

GPIO options:
 -r, --reset reset the weatherstation main unit (-1)
 -G, --gpiodev gpio device used for resetting (gpio1)
 -P, --gpiopin gpio pin used for resetting (16)

==> Datalogger
When turned on, weatherd will log timestamped values to a timestamped comma-
separated file.

==> Graphite
When turned on (syntax: -g <host>:<port>:<namespace>), submit timestamped values
to a graphite install

==> GPIO
When enabled, configured and built, you can reset the arduino by temporarily
cutting the +5v line running towards the arduino with the -r flag.
