/*******************************\ |******** INSTALL STEPS ********| \*******************************/ ***** * 1 * ***** Access the DALSA Spyder3 1k, 36 kHz GigE official website (available at the page: http://www.teledynedalsa.com/mv/products/cameradetail.aspx?partNumber=SG-14-01K40 ) and get a free account (you could need the camera serial number to do it). Download the "QuickCam GEV V 2.0 Setup" and install it. That will include the drivers for the virtual network card and the original software. Test the camera with the QuickCam program. ***** * 2 * ***** Download and install the "QT Libraries for VS 2010" and "QT Creator" from the site http://qt-project.org/downloads ***** * 3 * ***** Access the folder "contrib" and follow the instructions in the Readme.txt to copy the required libraries. ***** * 4 * ***** Copy "SpyderGigE.dll" and "Spyder3DLL.dll" in the root of the QTSpyder. ***** * 5 * ***** Open the project with the QTCreator and compile. It should work out of the box! If not, feel free to open an Issue on GITHub, we will reply as soon as we can. DRD Software WARNING: "Spyder3DLL.dll" have a compilation error that will make the project impossible to compile. It was compiled with Visual Studio 2005 and the linker considered the int type equal to the long type; therefore the decorated names of some of the functions have a "K" instead of an "I". We can't redistribute an edited version of this file for copyright reasons. Sorry. Anyway, if you want to modify the DLL, read the DLL_fix.txt
