A simple Steamworks API wrapper to be used as native extension for Adobe AIR
applications (see src/FRESteamWorks). Since the AIR runtime on Linux doesn't
support native extensions, this project also includes a small command line tool
used to communicate with the AIR application (src/APIWrapper).
The library to be used on the AS3 side can be found in lib/src/ (or lib/src_linux
for Linux). For a definition of the public interface, check ISteamWorks.as.
Scripts to create the ANE/SWC files are in lib/bin/.
It also includes a small test application (in test/src/), which tests the basic
Steamworks API functions. It uses application ID 480, which is the example application
from the Steamworks SDK.
This project initially started as a fork of FRESteamWorks by Oldes/Amanita Design.
A pre-built ANE (containing the Windows dll and OS X dylib) as well as the
Linux SWC can be found on http://dump.ventero.de/FRESteamWorks/. To build the
Linux APIWrapper, run make APPIDS=whitelist wrapper, where whitelist is a
comma separated list of application IDs that are able to use the wrapper binary.
