(intro to be written)

(better name ideas are welcome)
Assuming you have got a fresh eComStation 2.2 beta 2 installed1, the following will set up the required environment that will kindly meet all dependencies, download and build QWarpIN for you:
#!/@unixroot/usr/bin/sh
export COMSPEC=sh
export SHELL=sh
mkdir QWarpIN
cd QWarpIN
rm -rf *
yum -y update
yum -y install bzip2-devel bzip2-libs curl gcc kbuild-make libqt4-devel qt4-devel-tools git subversion
curl -O ftp://dbanet.org/os2/rpm/{bisonc++,flexc++,cmake,ilink,libbobcat,libbobcat-dev}.rpm
yum -y localinstall *
rm -rf *
svn export http://svn.netlabs.org/repos/ports/boost/trunk boost
cd boost
./bootstrap.sh --prefix=/@unixroot/usr
./b2 install --with-program_options link=static
cd ..
git clone https://github.com/dbanet/QWarpIN.git qwp
mkdir qwp-bld
cd qwp-bld
cmake ../qwp
make
cd ../..
exit
If your environment is not screwed up, this will run absolutely unattended, so you can even write this to a file and then run it with sh
.
You will essentially find the kindly generated binary QWarpIN\qwp-bld\out\wpi.exe
.
- All systems since Warp 4 are very likely to meet all the requirements, especially if well fixed with all IBM-supplied fixpacks, but in addition you will need to set up a netlabs.org RPM/YUM environment, which is bundled with eCS 2.2 beta 2, and proceed to the main instruction; if you do not like this approach, you are very free to set up your very own environment, but I most likely am not going to support this.
This is alpha. Alpha means there is no general availability releases, neither binary nor source. If you want to test or participate in software development, you are welcome to reach me, so I will be able to provide you with an alpha-release under required conditions, advice, coordination and support.
When the project reaches some code level at which it will be able to fit purposes and expectations and serve usefully, it will be beta-released for general availability under the GNU General Public License.
