pbf2osm
=======

This programs converts pbf files back to osm based XML files. At the time of writing we only tested dense nodes, ways and relations using deflation. In order to compile this program you will need:

- protobuf   <http://code.google.com/p/protobuf/>
- protobuf-c <http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-c/>

Additionally zlib and bzip2 are required.


Git Submodules
==============
To prevent bundling OSM-Binary we use a git submodule. To fetch the submodule

git submodule init
git submodule update
