QueenMaxima is a chess program developed by hof and Hajewiet in the period 1996-2000. Initially the focus was on "wild 17" (losers) chess, later development shifted to normal chess and the program participated in the 1998 Dutch Open Computer Chess Championship.

No significant changes to the code have been made since 2000.

The program continues to play as QueenMaxima(C) on chessclub.com and has played more than 475,000 games there.
