  This program is intended to allocate IP address automatically from DHCP

6. Installation
---------------

  Put kipcfg.exe into any directory.
  
7. Usage
---------

7.1. How to execute
-------------------

    kipcfg /req if | /rel if | /iponly | /wait secs | /q

7.2. Options
------------
    if          interface name such as lan0
    secs        maximum wait time, from 1 second to 60 seconds
    
    /req        request IP address for the specefied interface
    /rel        release IP address for the specified interface
    /iponly     set IP address only for the specified interface
                ( When you don't want to set a default gateway and DNS server )
    /wait       wait for the IP address to be assigned during a specified time
    /q          quit kipcfg daemon
  
8. Limits/Known bugs
--------------------

  - Do not check the conflict of the IP address allocated from DHCP server
  
  - Use 172.xx.100.100 temporarily( xx is 16 ~ 31 )
  
  - Activate LOOPBACK interface

  - Replace ifconfig.exe with socket APIs

  - Do not use temporary IP address

11. Compilation
---------------
 
  All you have to do is to install Open Watcom v1.8 to compile kipcfg.
  Now, enter 'wmake' on command prompt.
