MaNGOS2 was based off the last release from Team OpenWoW, published on 14th May 2005, and has been extended to support all features which currently are supported by the MaNGOS1 series. Our Wiki site provides you with valueable information on almost any topic regarding MaNGOS and related projects. ## Further readings ## Documenation on various development related topics can be found in the doc/ subdirectory, including Doxygen-generated API documentation. The required SQL files for creating the database backend are included in the sql/ subdirectory. ## Building and Installing ## In order to build and install MaNGOS2 under Linux, follow the instructions described in the INSTALL.GNU file. In order to build and install MaNGOS2 under Windows, follow the instructions described in the INSTALL.Win.txt file.
