This is the kernel module for controlling the backlight on Samsung laptops.

Follow these steps when running Fedora 15 on a Samsung NC10:
* install dependencies: "sudo yum install kernel-devel gcc"
* clone this repository
* compile the module by running "make"
* install the kernel module:
	sudo cp samsung-backlight.ko /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/
	sudo depmod -a
	sudo modprobe samsung-backlight
* update your /boot/grub/grub.conf like this:
	(...)
	title Fedora (2.6.38.8-35.fc15.i686)
        	root (hd0,0)
        	kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.38.8-35.fc15.i686 acpi_backlight=vendor ro (...)
* reboot
