This is the README file of the hamsterdb "monster" testsuite.

Contents:

1. About

This testsuite contains more than 30 000 tests for hamsterdb Embedded Storage.
These tests run on Windows and Unix/Linux. They execute various script files
(in /testfiles) against BerkeleyDb, and frequently compare both databases 
to make sure that they're equal. 

This is the initial release - the whole code is moved to github.com.

5. Documentation

The documentation for the test suite is still missing. I'll write it as soon
as i can, promised!

6. Licensing

The hamsterdb testsuite is released under GPL2 or later. There are several 
exceptions for other open source licenses (see 
http://hamsterdb.com/licensing/exceptions for legal information and a license 
list).
