	Divide and Conquer 2D Delaunay triangulation

		by Wael El Oraiby 2005(c)

INTRODUCTION:
=============
This is a library that builds a 2D Delaunay triangulation using the divide and
conquer algorithm by Guibas and Stolfi.

This program was done at the start of my PhD thesis.

Thanks to Dominique Schmitt and Jean-Claude Spehner for their valuable help and
support.

USAGE:
======
The algo builds the 2D Delaunay triangulation given a set of points of at least
3 points using:

int delaunay2d(real *points, int num_points, int **faces);

points		: point set given as a sequence of tuple x0, y0, x1, y1, ....
num_points	: number of given point
faces : the triangles given as a sequence: num verts, verts indices,
		num verts, verts indices first face is the external face.
return : the number of created faces

See the provided example if you want more information. It requires QT however.

NOTE:
=====
As with every implementation, there are some stability issues when it comes to
some case of colinear or cocyclic points. I intend to fix these issues when time
permits.

LICENSE:
========
I intend to release the source code later under a more permessive license. For
now you have my permission to statically link your program with the code provided
that you send me your bug fixes for any bug you find in the delaunay.c code.
Please note that your patch should be under an MIT/BSD style license so I can
release the code later under a more permissive license.
