libarchiver library and application README
 ==========================================

This library is the implementation of archiver utility along with the
compression based on the minCrypt algorithm both designed and created
by it's author, Michal Novotny. The mincrypt is the separate library
written as based on the minCrypt document designed by it's author in
early 2011.

If you want to create the RPM packages for application the ./autobuild.sh
script will create it for you.

The algorithm has been implemented in C language with requirements
for the minCrypt library mentioned above and it's distributed under
the LGPLv2+ licence.

Terminology
-----------

This library should be referred to as libarchiver.

Pre-requisite software
----------------------

Where versions are noted below these are the versions tested to definitely
work. For some of them you may be able to run with earlier releases, so
please report any success to the mailing lists
