1. clone the repository
2. git init submodule
3. git update submodule
4. follow instructions (here) for acado matlab interface compiliation
5. save the acado path into the root git directory savepath ../../../ACADOpathdef.m
6. change to root git directory and run addpath(ACADOpathdef)
