Build and Run Dupin
===================

The Dupin source-code is hosted at [github.com/dplatform/dupin](http://github.com/dplatform/dupin)

## Linux

A fresh Linux installation (e.g. Ubuntu 12.04 x64 LTS image) generally requires:

Configuration dependences:

	apt-get install autoconf
	apt-get install libtool
	apt-get install pkg-config

Build dependences (including the development files):

	apt-get install libxml2-dev
	apt-get install libglib2.0-dev
	apt-get install libjson-glib-dev
	apt-get install libsoup2.4-dev
	apt-get install libwebkitgtk-dev

## Building and Running

So, to get everything built and ready:

	sh autogen.sh
	./configure --prefix=/your/prefix/here
	make
	sudo make install

Configure
	
	cp /your/prefix/here/etc/dupinserver.cfg_example /your/prefix/here/etc/dupinserver.cfg
	mkdir -p /your/prefix/here/var/dupin/dbs
	chmod -R foobar.wheel /your/prefix/here/var

Edit dupinserver.cfg as appropriate.

To startup Dupin

	dupinctl start

This will startup Dupin locally.

Go to

	http://localhost:8088
