Prerequisites are a working installation of Quartus, the Nios II software tool suite and python 2.7 (as of now, there is no support for python 3.x) with a number of additional packages, namely blessings and lxml. The system creation suite has been developed and tested with Quartus 12.1, SP1 and SP2. Additionally, it uses an SRAM controller from the Altera University Program.
