Jackal is a project for distributed video encoding.
Main entities are :
- client (needs to encode video file)
- server (finds recources for distributed encoding)
- worker (is a recource unit, encodes video file)

To build and run the project you will need:

To build binaries go into src/ directory and run qmake jackal.pro && make. After that in directories src/client src/server and src/worker will be executable files for client, server and worker respectively.
