This repository contains public Software Carpentry material that doesn't belong on the web site, organized as follows:

• advertising: advertising materials.
• assessment: tools for assessment.
• book: chapters for the instructors' guide that didn't make it into the current version.
• branding: logo files and stylesheet to allow for consistent appearance and use of terminology.
• data: data files for use in teaching.
• legal: includes code of conduct, trademark terms, corporate training guidelines (in various states of adoption).
• papers: source for papers about Software Carpentry.
• support: grant proposals and final reports (usually with finances redacted).
• talks: source for talks about Software Carpentry.
• tools: miscellaneous scripts.
