Honeycomb is software that was created as part of Project Honeycomb at Sun Microsystems. This was a next generation object storage system. The appliance, Sun StorageTek ST5800 won the Best Fixed Content Archiving Solution in 2009.
The source here does not contain everything that was used to create the ST5800 appliance. It does not have the platform specific code, however everything else is included.
