This is a GUI for yle-dl for downloading media clips from YLE Areena.

The GUI is written in C++/Qt and currently requires yle-dl installed.

qyledl is based on mpartel's yle-downloader-gui.

Snapshot packages for Ubuntu are available at https://launchpad.net/~hekkup/+archive/yle-downloader-gui-snapshots.

Release packages for Ubuntu will be available at https://launchpad.net/~yle-dl/+archive/release.

See below for instructions for installation in Windows.

• lrelease qyledl.pro
• qmake
• make

• cd test
• qmake
• make all check

In order to install the application in Linux run the following command. If it doesn't work, please check the installation paths of files in qyledl.pro project file. The file paths have been tested on Kubuntu 13.10 and they should be more or less the same in other distributions, too.

• sudo make install

Uninstallation:

• sudo make uninstall

qyledl is not tested on or packaged for Windows. If you want to do it, you are welcome to fork this repository and go ahead!

The source code contains installer/innosetup_installer.iss file but it's outdated.

• On Windows, when trying to download a file that already exists, yle-dl crashes to an encoding error while printing a log message.
