There is not an easy enough way to map a new keyboard in Linux. It should not take this much work. In other systems, plug and play and you are golden. So, a GUI system for to solve this problem must be created, at least a new one that is updated and with the times. Not something from 2004 or 2006 that doesn't work with most keyboards anymore.
