ShinyCoin (abbreviated SHC), is the first cryptocurrency design using the truly GPU- and ASCI-resistant ramhog proof-of-work algorithm. ShinyCoin is based on Peercoin and uses its combined proof-of-stake/proof-of-work minting system.
