This repository contains code to run the simulations that are reported in

J. Brea, A.T. Gaál, R. Urbanczik and W. Senn, Prospective Coding by Spiking Neurons, PLoS Comput Biol, 12(6): e1005003, 2016.

The C code includes some headers from the GNU Scientific Library and is tested with gcc version 4.8.2.

Figures are generated with Mathematica 10

Run make all in the root directory. On a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5600U CPU @ 2.60GHz this takes approximately 55 minutes.
