Adds a context menu option to Explorer to copy the path(s) of the selected files and/or directories to the clipboard. Yes, another one. None of the extensions I could find behaved how I wanted.
The original code for this extension was written by Nick Carruthers and published at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/shell/copypathext.aspx.
Features:
- Can copy multiple filenames at once
- Hold down Shift + right click to copy path(s) in quotes
- Hold down Ctrl + right click to copy C-style path(s) in quotes with escaped backslashes
A release version is present in the bin/ReleaseUMinDependency/
folder. To install it, do the following (you probably need administrative access):
- Download the
CopyPathExt.dll
file and copy it toC:\Windows\system32
or a similar system path. - Register the DLL (open a command prompt, change to the directory where you copied the DLL, and type
regsvr32 CopyPathExt.dll
).
