Web is a graphical user interface for displaying and interacting with SPIDER format images. These images are a standard image format used for biological electron microscopy, especially for single-particle reconstruction. Web is distributed as part of the large SPIDER electron microscopy imaging package.
This repository holds Web source code and documentation including 50,000 lines of code.

Web was derived from an earlier Dec-Windows version and was developed starting in 1990 at the Wadsworth Center in Albany, NY by ArDean Leith.
