= QT Serial =

This software intends to offer a smart serial communication tool based on QT4 and the qextserial framework and it is under the GPLv2 license.


== Compile Linux ==

Get the last version of the libqextserialport and a compiler environnement fot QT4

 hg clone https://qextserialport.googlecode.com/hg/ qextserialport 
 qmake
 make
 make install
 
 
 Compile the qtserial software :
 tar xzvf QTSerial_001.tar.gz
 cd QTSerial
 qmake
 make
 ./qtserial #to launch the software
 
 
 == Compile Windows ==
 
 Compile a windows version of qextserial port, compile the .a or .dll from the buil ddirectory and paste it to the QTSerial directory.
 
 Change the name of the library at line 14 of the qtserial.pro files with the correct names of the library. Then you can compile the QTSerial software.
